Encinitas is a beach city in North County San Diego and recently was named among the 20 best surf towns in the world by National Geographic. It wears its surf history proudly, located along six miles of Pacific Ocean coastline. It is approximately 25 miles north of San Diego and about 95 miles south of Los Angeles. Encinitas is a hidden gem and an unspoiled reminder of the historic Highway 101 beach culture that thrived in the mid-1900s. With a population of approximately 65,000, it is a gem of a city with plenty of attractions, restaurants, activities, events, and more!
